does anyone know what to do after you get the first floor key in the mansion? i went back to the start of the mansion and used it on the locked door, beyond that i have no idea what to do, otherwise im enjoying it very much so far
It sounds like you already did every available content so far. Currently only the first floor of the mansion is playable. There might still be the debug menu for you to unlock, where you can view all the possible endings. For that you have to find 3 of the currently 4 available green crystals hidden inside the mansion and have low corruption. (you can clear corruption by buying an item in the garden shop)

There is no green crystal in the garden area. However, there is one in the room with the portal back to the HUB after you fought Wagbert. When it comes to the chest in the middle of the garden area: you might want to take a closer look at the water surrounding the chest. You might notice something unusual ;3

I've explored the map half a dozen times, upgraded my skills, fought every monster save for the big boss when he showed up one time in a hallway, and I'm stuck behind locked doors and that one room with the movable block. Can someone tell me what it is I'm not thinking of?
Most of the doors on the first floor of the mansion will be unlocked once you get the key from the garden area. Did you already fight the first boss? You can find them to the right of the room with all the little slime enemies. This will then lead to the garden where you will find the key.
I definitely haven't made it to any boss. Is that the room with the eyeball on the pillar? If so I can't make it past the pits there. There's the moveable box in there that I thought I could use to make a bridge or at least dash through, but neither of those options have worked.
I must say that this is an absolutely amazing game so far, love the art, animations and the different things that can happen to your character depending on which enemy you get defeated by but I am currently in need of a bit of help in progressing through the game. I have the first floor key which I gained from the dragon boss in the mansion garden and I went through every room after getting the key but I can't seem to find a way to progress, I even managed to get the 3 cursed items. Have I missed something or have I reached the current end point that the game is currently at? Also, I have defeated the large plant boss in the other world/area but since it's not there anymore, is there a way to view the endings that it gives?

Man, why do all the good games have to be gay... I know that's kinda the target audience and all, but a female playable character would be pretty cool too. Obviously that'd take an unreasonable amount of effort for the sake of one comment, but hey, just felt the need to share my opinion, as unrealistic as it is lol.
I understand that gay content might not be for everyone, but we are thankful to hear that you think our game is good. <3 We just feel more comfortable in doing gay content and even if we would want to include a female playable character it would be a lot of effort to produce seperate content for it, like you said. So we decided to keep the game m/m focused, I am sorry. x3
I made the mistake of equipping one of the cursed items before giving items to the kobolds as the slime transformation. Am I missing something, or did I just softlock myself?
There's definitely a lack of direction at times that makes you re-explore areas multiple times. However, once you have a base understanding of the game, it's easily overlooked.
It's one of those games where you want to get the ending (and the secret ending), but also get the bad ending from each entity you face off against.
The scenes it featured are incredibly hot and I hope there's more updates to come.

Navigation can be an issue, I agree, and we are still thinking about adding a map to the game, though we want the players to get lost for a bit :3
But we also try to limit branching pathes to a minimum, so to not make it too confusing. And since we are still learning with every content you can expect improvements in future updates.
Thanks for the reply! I definitely agree on getting lost. Once I understood the game and how you (in my opinion) pretty much wanted to get defeated by almost every entity but also go for the ending. Getting lost made no difference as I always had something to gain, like new transformations awaiting me.
enjoying this game so far, though i am curios about where the third cursed item is, i currently have the adorned brooch and silken cloak and have no clue where the third might be
Hey there. You can find one by completing the puzzle in the dining room, you get one from the kobold in the kitchen asking for an apple and the last one by delivering a broom to the kobold in the garden.
Really loved everything in this game! Especially love the kobolds! But I cant find the broom for the kobold. Would love to have someone tell me where it is as I've been finding it for a good while aaaaaa
Thank you for making Altered, it's such a nice gem of a game. The kind of corruption/submission TF sequences (writing, pixel art, animations) are really well executed and I really appreciate the love you've put into this game.
The variety of enemies and their themes is working wonders for the game.
The kobold shenanigans really surprised me positively because it felt different - all cute and kobold level silly.
Can't wait to see what's next for Altered in the future, please make sure to take breaks and never sacrifice health for making video games <3

I was able to view the full transformation scene with debug room but had a hard time finding the curse items from the kobold quest. I kept seeing the broom one vanish when I got close and I don't think I ever saw the other one. Which ever one I did the items stayed in inventory. Maybe add a system to keep better track and even possibly better hints or something to find them.
Loved the Kobold additions! Especially for pins 1 and 3. Something about the pin being silly levels of weak for 1 Kobold, and ramping up with more Kobolds was super fun.
Not sure if it's been reported or noticed yet, after being triple teamed by the kobolds and transformed, I played through the game over scene a bit as a maid kobold and, once the bar was about 3/4 full, I hit tab to skip to end of day. The cutscene played out, then I was transformed back into the fox, but stuck in the kobold rooms, unable to interact with anything.
hey there. I had a few people report this bug already, but I am still lacking information on how to reproduce it. I did several test of the kobold ending and was not able to trigger this bug once. So any kind of information about this helps.
It's fantastic work! I especially enjoyed the Ravus Corruption, and the aggressive kobold mobs, and the new miniboss. The playable post tfs stellar as well! I do hope we'll get more time in the desert level one day.

You can use the orb skill to move the pillar from the right side to the left to activate the pressure plate which makes the platform move.

Corruption alters some dialogue and gives an ending when you go for the debug menu with too much corruption.

You are not softlocked. You can remove the cursed items by buying an item from the shop in the garden area

Sorry, there is no android version and we currently do not have any plans for it, as it would take a lot of work to make it work on android.

Is there a way to attack upwards or downwards?
No, you can only attack to the left and right. This is by design to make sprite work a bit less time consuming.

Am i the only one who's save deletes instantly after quitting the game? Like game resets itself as if it wasn't touched before.
This is most likely a windows permission issue. It probably blocks the game from creating save files in your AppData folder.
I didn't have that issue with previous version of the game, so what should i do? open with administrator? or turning off windows security?
You should be able to give folder access to the game in your windows security settings.
it seems to be the issue with instaler version of the game, when i reinstalled it with zip everything is fine as it should be

You need to be transformed in order for the kobold not to disappear. The other kobolds for the cursed items can be found in the kitchen area.
How many cursed items can you find in the current version? Love the game btw ^^
